• From "addled brain" to conscious choices

Since a young age, I’ve never been able to focus on anything that doesn’t genuinely interest me, lessons at school, essays at college, dissertations at university, and even now in my working life. I’ve often been left feeling stupid, slow, and afraid to speak openly with friends or colleagues about how I really feel. Instead, I find myself putting on a front, pretending to be professional, organised, engaged, and positive, when in reality, I’m constantly worrying about the things I haven’t done, rather than focusing on what I’m doing in the moment.

If I had to summarise how I feel in one word, it would be overwhelmed. Overwhelmed with emotions of panic, anxiety, guilt and a sense of being an imposter. It’s like being a child standing on another child’s shoulders, wearing an oversized coat and a stick on moustache, pretending to be something I’m not just to appear “normal”.

Years of reflection, conversation, medication, and therapy have helped me understand why I feel the way I do, but never how to stop feeling that way. I’ve often been met with unhelpful advice such as, “If you’re anxious, just don’t worry so much,” or, “If you can’t organise yourself, make a list,” or, “If you’re not productive, work harder.

Yet, after only a short time working with Kate and adopting a new way of thinking, it’s as though a light has been shone directly onto things that have always been right in front of me but somehow impossible to find.

Small changes, and relearning the world through a new mindset are becoming truly transformational for me and for those around me. Understanding that I have the choice to take something on, and that doing so will make me feel good about progressing, has been powerful. Recognising that avoiding choices makes me a victim of a situation rather than the owner of it has helped me understand why I worry about what’s left undone, instead of engaging with what’s in front of me.

Taking control of the things that have always controlled me feels incredible. The negative emotions, the worry, and the panic start to fade. My ADHD addled brain no longer seeks a shiny distraction, and my excitement now comes from knowing that I’m moving forward even if it’s just creating a spreadsheet (or insert other boring task here). Being engaged, and knowing that I’ve made a conscious choice, is becoming the source of dopamine I’ve always craved.

There’s so much more I could say, but to summarise: being given the keys to unlock the right thought processes, the ones that always felt just out of reach, is giving me a map to navigate areas of my professional and personal life that I’d previously been unable to reach. And not only do I arrive at my destination, but I get there without the same negative feelings that used to follow me.

I feel clearer, more present for my family, and more focused in my work and my life.

  • Recharge Immersion

The four day Recharge Immersion came at exactly the right time in my life. I’m in my 50s and in the process of selling my business. I was very much at a cross roads wondering how I would even begin to work out what I want next from life. I went in with a very open mind, unsure what to expect.

My primary goal was to quieten the constant noise in my head to give me space to think. The four days at Watergate Bay was truly magical.

Kate is sensitive and thoughtful and gently encouraged us all to be honest and to identify what motivates us in life and what’s holding us back. I was so nervous about opening up and being vulnerable in front of strangers but Kate so quickly put all of us at ease. We formed a bond so strong that we are still messaging each other, still supporting each other and sharing our learnings about ourselves.

I genuinely feel like I’ve had a factory reset. My mind feels more ordered and quieter. My purpose feels better defined and I have so much more confidence to crack on with the next phase in my life. I genuinely feel quite evangelical about this process that Kate has shared with us and would 100% recommend this experience to anyone wanting clarity in their life. Kate is utterly brilliant and I feel so lucky to have met her.

  • The power of one conversation

I had the pleasure of working with Kate through a Sounding Board session at Anchors Coaching, and it was truly transformative. Kate has a remarkable ability to ask the right questions that prompt deep reflection and insight.

Our session helped me shift my focus from simply managing tasks to really evaluating how I use my time, what drives my decisions, and where I can be more intentional. She brought a perfect balance of challenge and support, encouraging me to take accountability for how I show up daily—both professionally and personally.

What stood out most was how I left our session not only with greater clarity, but with a renewed sense of ownership over my goals. Kate’s guidance has had a lasting impact on how I now approach time management, self-reflection, and sustainable progress.

If you're looking for a coach who listens deeply, challenges constructively, and genuinely empowers change, I can't recommend Kate highly enough.

  • Nothing short of life-changing

Working with Kate has been nothing short of life changing. When I first came to her, I was at a crossroads in my career, unsure of my next step and wrestling with the next step. Through her thoughtful and intuitive coaching, she not only helped me navigate a career pivot with clarity and confidence, but she also gave me the tools to completely reframe how to approach the situation.

Her methodology is a powerful blend of structure and intuition rooted in real insight, yet deeply personal. Every session feels purposeful, grounded, and geared toward long term change. Kate doesn't just hand you answers, she helps you uncover things for yourself.

What sets Kate apart is her ability to hold space with both compassion and accountability. She listens deeply, asks the right questions, and offers reflections that stay with you long after the session ends.

  • Recharge Immersion: 2

The Recharge Immersion is some of the most precious time you can ever gift yourself.

Kate created an environment where we soon overcame any initial shyness and relaxed into gently exploring what was important to us, and what was holding us back. All stuff I could do at home in a journal, or in a coaching session. But the magic of Recharge is being there, with time for thoughts to unfold, and be examined, without rush, with Kate’s guidance and challenge, and the kind reassurance of the other participants. Watergate Bay, both the hotel and the beach, were the perfect setting to create space to work out what next for me.

I unearthed and worked through some entrenched thinking, and came out feeling both liberated and energised, with some new ideas that I’m quietly excited to get going on. My experience of the Recharge Immersion was so good that I came back a second time.

  • Focus (and courage)

I started working with Kate about three months ago all I can say is that I am thankful that we crossed paths!

I have more focus (and dare I say courage!) to do/change things in my life than I have ever had.

Kate speaks from experience but also is able to distill my ramblings and guide me to the answers I need.

She gives practical, realistic advice that stays in my mind long after our sessions have ended.
Kate would be an asset to anyone she works with.

I feel able and capable to tackle life at large and this is because of Kate.

  • It's revolutionised my mindset

Working with Kate had helped me to build my inner confidence and get the life I want.

I’ve tried a few other options, but Kate’s way of letting me speak and then repeating the subconscious ways I spoke about myself was mind blowing. She really put me at ease to speak my truth and it’s revolutionised my mindset ever since.

I now recognise my fear in stepping out of my boundaries, in both my career and personal life, because I know I can always return to my safe inner space when lacking in confidence or feeling worn down.

It’s been a joy being supported by Kate and I would always recommend her coaching to anyone feeling like life is grey, but knows there’s some sunshine on the horizon.

  • Everyone needs a Kate

I can 100% say this is one of the best things I have ever done.

Kate has helped guide me through a very difficult time in my business which was making me incredibly stressed and having a very negative impact on my life.

Business can be very lonely and to have Kate to speak to and discuss ideas has been invaluable.

Once I had done a session I always felt 100% better about everything.

Everybody should have a Kate in their life at some point. She has been amazing and I wouldn't have got through this very difficult time without her.

  • Self-exploration

Kate is a masterful coach of tremendous insight and ability.

Her questions are always posed in such a way that you never feel pressured to answer with anything other than your own deep truth, as she somehow manages to convey a sense of safety, acceptance and love simultaneously.

Kate's coaching provides a safe and beautiful container for self-exploration, as she gently guides you to the answers she knows are already within the person she is working with.

Kate helped me pinpoint my deepest desires but also helped me find the courage to shine in my own unique way. I cannot recommend her highly enough!

  • A hard nut to crack!

I was a non believer, a hard nut to crack but I embraced the experience whole heartedly & felt safe to open up with honesty things that had been buried deep within me.

I discovered so much about myself. It came at exactly the right time for me.

I'm so different now I'm living my best life & loving the new me. I cannot recommend enough, it was a privilege to be part of it. Kate is magic x

  • Clearing the boulders

To say that it [working with Kate] was enlightening would be an understatement. Kate was able to hear into the story that I was creating for myself and tease out important details and keywords.

Her energy was soft, comforting and attentive. It made it easy for me to connect with the questions and observations that she made and those observations shifted big things in me.

The things that she shifted were like unseen boulders on my personal and professional growth path.

So I want to thank Kate for her amazing coaching ability and unlocking an exceptionally hidden aspect of my consciousness.
